Established in early 2011 alongside the foundation of the Croatian Cultural and Artistic Association St. Mark (HKUD Sv. Marko) \u2013 Vionica, the festival quickly grew to become one of the largest and most renowned cultural events of its kind in BiH. The International Folklore Evenings are organized by HKUD Sv. Marko \u2013 Vionica and last for three evenings. This folklore festival offers both entertainment and an educational dimension, presenting a fresh narrative from the past each year. During the festival, attendees gain insight into the diversity of folklore in Herzegovina and the international folklore groups participating in the event. The festival places a strong emphasis on cherishing folk dances, costumes, and customs, with the aim of preserving various traditional values and cultural heritage of Herzegovinians. In addition, the organizers want to attract a wide audience, foster cultural collaboration, and promote understanding among ethnic groups.
