Brotnjo is a fertile karst plateau in southwestern Bosnia and Herzegovina, at an elevation ranging from 22 to 582 meters above sea level. It includes the Municipality of Čitluk and parts of Ljubuški (Lipno settlement), Čapljina (Šurmanci settlement), and Mostar (Slipčići settlement). Its total area is 234 km², of which 181 km² belongs to Čitluk.
The landscape of Brotnjo, shaped by complex and lengthy processes, has retained its current form since the alluvial era. The municipality’s terrain is predominantly hilly with a central karst field.
