Brotnjo embodies the wine culture of Herzegovina, boasting a rich history of grape cultivation and fine wine production. Blatina and Žilavka are among the most popular varieties, and local winemakers use traditional methods to produce wines of exceptional quality.
Brotnjo can also take pride in the fact that the oldest wine cellar in Bosnia and Herzegovina is located in Gradnići, built in 1855 by the then-parish priest Fra Petar Bakula.
