Winery Marijanović

The story of the Marijanović Winery is one of family, tradition, and a love for wine. Located in the tranquil Herzegovinian village of Služanj, near Međugorje and Čitluk, we have been cultivating our indigenous Herzegovinian varieties Žilavka and Blatina for four generations, alongside international varieties such as Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. From our grapes, we produce premium varietal wines. Our offering include the cuvée wine, 33 Barrique—a brand in its own right. We also offer a wide range of labels to suit every taste.

Our vineyards spread across the gentle slopes of the Mostar viticultural region, with a southern exposure that ensures maximum sunlight. The unique microclimatic conditions of this location contribute to the pronounced freshness, minerality, and complexity of our wines.

At the heart of the vineyards is a state-of-the-art wine cellar, a vital component in wine production, ensuring that grapes are processed quickly after harvest. The cellar is equipped with cutting-edge technology for cold fermentation and cold stabilization of both white and red wines. Young and fresh wines with rich aromas are crafted in stainless steel tanks, while more mature and full-bodied wines are aged in barrique barrels.

Our winery, wine-tasting room, and newly built accommodation hotel are equipped with modern amenities and equally deeply rooted in the tradition that has always inspired us. The entire complex, blending harmoniously with the natural surroundings, is located in seclusion.  We invest heavily in wine tourism and are part of the Herzegovina Wine Route (HWR). We host curated wine tastings paired with Herzegovinian platters and meals by arrangement. Besides professionally curated wine tastings, one of our standout offerings and new tourist products is the unique “CREATE YOUR OWN CUVÉE!” experience, where guests can craft their own blend of three varieties under expert guidance and with a personalized label—a truly special experience!

Our mission and objective are to ensure that visitors leave our winery enriched with new experiences and knowledge about wines, the region, tradition, and our beautiful Herzegovina. By harnessing the best that Herzegovina’s nature has to offer, we create the Marijanović wines as the fruit of years of dedication, professionalism, quality, and love for this craft.
