Winery Marijanović

The story of Winery Marijanović is one of family, tradition, and love for wine. Located in the peaceful Herzegovinian village of Služanj, near Međugorje and Čitluk, we have been cultivating our native Herzegovinian varieties Žilavka and Blatina for four generations, along with international varieties such as Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. From our grapes, we produce premium single-variety wines. Our offerings include the cuvée wine, 33 Barrique, a brand in itself. Additionally, we provide a wide range of labels to cater to every taste.

Our vineyards stretch across the gentle slopes of the Mostar wine-growing region, with a southern exposure that ensures maximum sunlight. The uniqueness of this location lies in its specific microclimatic conditions, contributing to the freshness, minerality, and complexity of our wines.

At the heart of the vineyards lies a modernly equipped cellar, which plays a vital role in wine production as the grapes are processed in a short time frame. The cellar is outfitted with state-of-the-art technology for cold fermentation and cold stabilization of both white and red wines. In stainless steel tanks, we craft young and fresh wines with rich aromas, while more mature and full-bodied wines are aged in barrique barrels.

Our winery, wine-tasting room, and newly built accommodation hotel are equipped with modern amenities yet are deeply rooted in the tradition that has always inspired us. The entire complex is beautifully integrated into the natural surroundings and located in seclusion. We invest significantly in wine tourism and are part of the Herzegovina Wine Route (HWR). We organize guided wine tastings paired with Herzegovinian platters and arranged meals. Besides professional wine tastings, we have designed a unique and new tourist product called “CREATE YOUR OWN CUVÉE!” This experience allows guests to select their preferred percentage of three varieties under expert guidance and create a personalized label—a truly special experience!

Our mission and goal are for visitors to leave our winery enriched with new experiences and knowledge about wines, the region, tradition, and our beautiful Herzegovina. By taking the best of what nature in Herzegovina offers, we create Marijanović wines as a result of years of hard work, professionalism, quality, and love for this craft.
