The cultivation of vineyards and wine production has always been a family tradition for the Ćorić family. Their story, along with their business, dates back to 1883, when Šimun Ćorić (1883–1938) was born. Thanks to his military discipline and bravery, he spent around twelve years in the army, earning vast estates in the village of Paoča near Čitluk.
Andrinje is a traditional event celebrating the christening and tasting of young wine from the Andrija cellars. It is a unique event in Herzegovina, born out of love and gratitude from the sons towards their father, Andrija, who passed away in 2005. Every year, at the end of November, the Andrija cellars and hotel are visited by a large number of wine lovers and those who enjoy their products. This day is dedicated to enjoying premium wines and specialties from the local cuisine.
The Andrinje event has been included in the calendar of significant tourist events in Bosnia and Herzegovina by the Tourist Board of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH). In 2014, it received the Zero Waste Event award from the Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism, confirming its status as a major event.
